これまでのFTMO体験は素晴らしいです。利益が出始めてから4ヶ月で5回目の出金がスムーズに処理されています。マイナス点はチャレンジ料金が他のプロップファームよりやや高いこと。それ以外に悪い経験は今のところありません。

My experience so far with FTMO is awesome, my payouts are being processed smoothly for the 5th time within 4 months since began to be profitable. The negative part is that their challenges fees are little bit higher than other prop firms, otherwise i've not any bad experience with them so far.

I had a great experience trading in FTMO. I experienced 2-phase free trial, but I was in doubt what to do when I succeed in step 1. Is the account automatically closed, or should I close manually? I closed mannualy, and the result is still not passed for 1st step, although I achieved all necessary steps. I think more detailed information is needed for free trial tests.

I am deeply disappointed with how FTMO handles technical slippage and risk management on their platform during the rollover period. My challenge account (541316827) was terminated due to a minor Max Daily Loss breach of just $12.58 over the limit (-$512.58 instead of -$500.00) at exactly 00:24:56 CE(S)T on June 12, 2026. This happened directly during the market rollover when liquidity is thinnest and spreads widen artificially. When I escalated this issue to Lukas Than (Team Leader - Complaints & Investigations), the official response was that the Max Daily Loss is NOT an automated stop-loss mechanism, that FTMO does not provide real-time margin alerts, and they do not guarantee position closure at the threshold. This means FTMO sells an evaluation service where the platform allows your account to slip past the loss limit without any automated safeguards or notifications, while holding the consumer 100% financially liable for the backend execution delay during a 1-second spread spike. Charging premium fees for a service that lacks basic consumer protections and real-time data transparency is unacceptable. Since FTMO firmly refuses to issue a refund or a free retry for a technicality that was impossible to manage in real-time, I am leaving this review to warn other retail traders. I will also be forwarding this case study to my trading network and filing a formal consumer complaint with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI). Ticket reference: Account 541316827.

I have been trading with FTMO for a long time, consistently managing my risk, trading proper setups, and actively receiving my payouts without any issues. Suddenly, out of nowhere, my account was permanently terminated. The reason given? An accusation of “cross-hedging with other accounts.” As a structured, rules-based trader, I immediately reached out to customer support to request the transaction logs, timestamps, or any data proving this claim so I could review it. Their response was deeply alarming: they flat-out refused to provide a single piece of evidence, hiding behind the excuse that their review parameters and data are “strictly confidential.” How can a company permanently ban a long-term, profitable trader without showing them the proof of their supposed violation? If a platform can terminate your contract based on invisible data that you aren’t allowed to see or verify, then no trader’s capital or hard work is truly safe here. Be highly cautious if you are a consistently profitable trader. They can and will terminate your relationship on a whim, and you will receive zero transparency when it happens. Unacceptable business practice.

I successfully passed FTMO's two-stage challenge and received my funded account, so this is not a review from someone who failed and is looking for excuses. Overall, FTMO delivered on advancing my account, and the support team were professional throughout. However, I do have concerns about how certain rules are applied after passing the evaluation. I specifically chose the two-stage challenge despite the higher cost because the one-stager had the "Biggest Day" rule, which limits how much of your profits can come from a single day. I deliberately selected the two-stage option because it allowed me to trade my strategy without being constrained by that rule, provided I met all published objectives and risk parameters. After successfully completing both stages, FTMO conducted a review of my trading and informed me that my activity was considered to resemble a "one-sided betting strategy" because a single trade generated a significant portion of the profits needed to complete the Verification stage. As a result, I was required to accept 'a new restriction' limiting risk to 1% per trade idea across all current and future accounts. If I were to get stopped out they also added the restriction of not being able to trade in that same direction for up to an hour after the previous trade. My concern is not that FTMO has risk-management standards. My concern is that this specific restriction was only introduced after I had already passed the evaluation process. I think so far so good just that the rules are so many and can be confusing at times for FTMO traders but I like the fact that they send us emails especially for restricted trades days ahead of time so that the client may be aware and plan accordingly. But I would also suggest that they introduce swing account for the 1 step challenge as well to help some of us who are swing traders. Initially, I thought my account was a swing account until I realised it was not so I think if a swing account for the 1 step challenge is introduced, it would be great. Thank you.

Yes I found some major concerning points:- 1)- Your swap deduction on swing trading account as all we know that swing trades bases on couple of days instead of single day or Hours so when a person choose swing account option then there is no reason behind the deduction on swing trades even with low leverage, so there is no mean to choose FTMO swing account. 2)- Unstable spread on forex commodities & currency pairs is a biggest hurdle on Intraday or scalping trades, FTMO must fix this issue as many times I was facing swing trades cutt off with hitting stop loss and market had not reached over there but that was due to your unstable spread. 3)- And the last one is total loss percentage which must be allowed at least 25% after all we pay for a good equity not only for 10% challenge or evaluation, as more equity room will more sustain traders at platform but also calm their mindset regarding trust on FTMO. So please should be think about it. Thank you!

I've been trading with FTMO on a 2-Step Challenge and overall the platform works fine — until you encounter a spread spike. On June 3, 2026, I had sell positions open on AUD/NZD with buy-stop hedging orders placed at 1.21700. The BID price on my chart never reached 1.21700 — it only moved downward. Yet my buy-stops triggered because the ASK price spiked to 1.21744, creating a spread of approximately 34 pips on AUD/NZD. For context: AUD/NZD normal spread is 1-3 pips. Even during RBA/RBNZ rate decisions, I've never seen it exceed 10-15 pips. I filed a dispute. FTMO's Complaint & Investigation Team responded promptly (credit to them) with tick data confirming the ASK spike. Their explanation: "high-impact USD news." However, AUD/NZD contains no USD — it's Australian Dollar vs New Zealand Dollar. When I challenged this, they responded that "USD is the world's primary reserve currency and can potentially impact all other pairs." Technically arguable, but a 34-pip spread on a non-USD, low-volatility pair is extreme by any standard. **What FTMO did well:** - Responded within 24 hours - Provided actual tick data as evidence - Professional and polite communication **What traders should know:** - FTMO's simulated environment can produce spread spikes far beyond what you'd see on retail brokers like IC Markets - Your chart only shows BID — the ASK price (which triggers buy-stops and closes sell positions) is invisible unless you enable it - Pending orders (buy-stops, sell-stops) are vulnerable to these invisible spikes - FTMO will not reverse trades caused by spread widening —

FTMO is the biggest scam in the prop firm industry. This company intimidates traders via email, tailors rules that are not publicly stated on their website, and then attempts to coerce traders into accepting those rules or risk getting banned and losing opportunities. Sit with me. I passed my FTMO Challenge in the first week of May, completing both Phase 1 and Phase 2. After issuing my certificate, FTMO refused to provide my funded account. This company then went back and forth with me via email, claiming that I risked 1.6% and 1.9% on single trades during the evaluation phase. However, this alleged rule was never stated on their website. Instead, it appeared to be a rule tailored specifically to me after they had studied my trading system and seen my history of frequent payouts. To me, this looked like an attempt to cripple my trading style and force me into a framework that does not align with how I trade. Now I ask: who introduces a strict rule via email that is not published on their website? They informed me that I must only use 1% risk per trade on both evaluation and funded accounts. Again, this risk rule is not stated anywhere on their website. When I refused to accept being denied my funded account, FTMO gave me two options: either retake the challenge from Phase 1 or receive a refund and be banned from their platform. Advertised as "24/7 Live Support" and "No Restrictions" — Reality: 3 Weeks of Silence, Copy-Paste Responses, and Account Ban I purchased three FTMO 100K Challenge accounts between January and April 2026. What followed was one of the most frustrating and dishonest customer experiences I have ever had. THE SUPPORT REALITY: FTMO advertises "24/7 live support" and a "top tech team." After experiencing documented technical platform errors (ghost stop-loss and take-profit orders executing without my input, costing me ~$432), I contacted support. What followed: 21 days of complete silence across 5 separate contact attempts via Discord and email — with full MT5 logs, trade IDs and timestamps attached. When FTMO finally responded, it was with an identical copy-paste message requesting the exact same logs I had already submitted twice. That is not 24/7 live support. That is an automated non-response dressed up as customer service. THE "NO RESTRICTIONS" REALITY: FTMO explicitly advertises "no restrictions on trading strategies" — a statement their own Discord admins repeat to traders daily. In reality, their Terms and Conditions contain deliberately vague language like "strategies we reasonably consider harmful" with zero objective thresholds — giving FTMO unlimited discretionary power to ban any account or deny any payout at any time, for any reason they choose. Public cases document traders with $180,000+ in verified FTMO payouts being banned. Payouts denied for rules that don't even exist in the published Terms. This is not "no restrictions." このレビューのためにわざわざアカウントを作りました。残念ながらこれも詐欺的プロップファームです。口座を強制的に違反扱いにし、話を聞いてくれません。日次損失を超えたとされる取引が、アプリ・MT5・メールで提供されるデータで一致しません(勝ちトレードのデータは常に一致します)。上限に近づくと強制清算し、画面にもアプリにも表示されない2〜3ドルを上乗せしてきます。SLに掛かった1つの取引のスクリーンショットを共有し、MT5では日次損失の範囲内だったことを示しましたが、FTMOアプリでは1.5ドル余計に加算されて違反扱い。メールで問い合わせると、彼らのサーバーデータではさらに1ドル追加されていました。2回試しましたが、二度と戻りません。お金を無駄にしないよう、皆さんには他社をおすすめします。

I specially made account here for this review. Sadly another SAM prop firm! they would forcefully breach your account and would not listen to you. the trade which breaches your account's daily loss would never match on their app, Mt5 and the email data they provide. the winning trades data is always matched. they would forcefully liquidate your account if you are near to it and would push 2$ to 3$ extra without even showing it to you on the screen or the app and then would give you seperate data on email of their server. total scam. I had the screenshots shared with them of one single trade that had hit SL and showed me that I was under my daily loss at MT5. but at FTMO app the account was breached with 1.5$ extra SL rate. And surprisingly when they were contacted on email, the data they share of their server had another 1 dollar added means almost 2.5$ extra was added which was never shown during the trade when it had hit the SL! They would never show the real data on front and on backend would forcefully liquidate your account so you dont pass it. Extremly pathetic. I gave it 2 tries, but never going back to them again. My humble opinion to everyone not to waste your money with them. Try others.
