Honestly I was a bit sketchy about trading with prop firms as I've always used normal brokers. I heard a lot of horror stories about different prop firms and have experienced first had how certain prop firms make excuses not to pay you out but FTMO definitely is NOT 1 of those prop firms. I looked at a lot of prop firms before deciding to go with FTMO and I do not regret it. Their rules are clear and they dont have any hidden rules. They do what they say! However, after carefully reviewing the information again, I must respectfully state that I do not agree with the conclusion. According to my records and what was displayed in the FTMO application at the time: On 11.03.2026, my loss was 1,626.90 EUR On 12.03.2026, my loss was 1,359.07 EUR These represent two different trading days. From my perspective, it appears that the system may have combined the losses from these two separate days when calculating the Max Daily Loss, which resulted in the account being terminated. The main issue here is that the FTMO application displayed different information at the time, and based on that information I continued trading while believing that I was still within the allowed limits. If the internal system calculates losses differently from what is displayed to the trader in the application, it creates a serious transparency problem and makes it impossible to properly manage risk in real time. Please understand that this matter is very important to me. This challenge required a significant amount of time, discipline, and personal effort, and I made every attempt to respect your trading rules. For this reason, I kindly request that you re-open this case and conduct a thorough technical review, including verification of how the daily loss was calculated in relation to the platform time, CE(S)T reset time, and the values displayed in the FTMO application at that moment.

Account Closed Without Clear Evidence – Lack of Transparency from FTMO Recently, my account was closed by FTMO under the accusation of “cross-account hedging,” as stated by the company’s Risk Department. According to them, I allegedly opened opposite positions across accounts to manipulate results. However, this accusation does not reflect the reality of how I operate. My trading model is based on a mathematical system of capital management and probability, using treasury calculations and a maximum risk-to-reward ratio of 1:1. All of my trades follow exactly the same dollar value, which can be clearly verified in the account history. Many times the price does not immediately reach the target, and the trade remains open, which is part of the statistical logic of my system. In one of the cases analyzed, a sell trade nearly reached the take profit, but the price fully retraced. Shortly after, my own system indicated a buy opportunity while the previous order was still open. This was not intended to cover losses or manipulate results, but simply because my system identified a new entry based on statistical probability. Furthermore, I did not violate any capital protection rule, because to characterize a real loss coverage it would have required opening a position with a size proportional to the stop loss of the previous trade, which did not happen. Despite this, FTMO decided to terminate my account, permanently revoke my registration, and prohibit any future participation, claiming to have “technical and statistical evidence,” yet without presenting any concrete proof or d

I am a real FTMO client and have traded an FTMO challenge. My experience comes from a situation where I initially misunderstood how the daily loss rule is calculated in relation to time zones (Prague time vs GMT+2) and how it is displayed in the Account MetriX dashboard. At the time, this created confusion for me, as trades appeared to be separated across two days in the dashboard, while the daily loss evaluation is applied based on FTMO’s internal time. After further clarification, I understand that this is part of how the system is designed. FTMO has provided explanations, and I believe this detail is important for traders to fully understand in order to avoid misunderstandings. Overall, FTMO remains a well-structured firm, and I encourage traders to carefully review the rules and time zone settings to manage risk properly. I am currently in discussion with FTMO to resolve the situation.
