However, after payment, the system delivered a 1-step model with completely different Trading Objectives. I lost the account due to hidden conditions that were not visible during my confirmed 2-step selection. This is either a critical UI bug or a deliberate "bait and switch" tactic. 2. Support Reaction: From "Regret" to Legal Threats Initially, support expressed formal "regret," but the tone shifted instantly when I stood my ground. Instead of acknowledging the technical mismatch, they blamed me for being "inattentive." From my perspective, it appears that the system may have combined the losses from these two separate days when calculating the Max Daily Loss, which resulted in the account being terminated. The main issue here is that the FTMO application displayed different information at the time, and based on that information I continued trading while believing that I was still within the allowed limits. If the internal system calculates losses differently from what is displayed to the trader in the application, it creates a serious transparency problem and makes it impossible to properly manage risk in real time. Please understand that this matter is very important to me. This challenge required a significant amount of time, discipline, and personal effort, and I made every attempt to respect your trading rules. For this reason, I kindly request that you re-open this case and conduct a thorough technical review, including verification of how the daily loss was calculated in relation to the platform time, CE(S)T reset time, and the values displayed in the FTMO application at that moment.

According to them, I allegedly opened opposite positions across accounts to manipulate results. However, this accusation does not reflect the reality of how I operate. My trading model is based on a mathematical system of capital management and probability, using treasury calculations and a maximum risk-to-reward ratio of 1:1. All of my trades follow exactly the same dollar value, which can be clearly verified in the account history. Many times the price does not immediately reach the target, and the trade remains open, which is part of the statistical logic of my system. In one of the cases analyzed, a sell trade nearly reached the take profit, but the price fully retraced. Shortly after, my own system indicated a buy opportunity while the previous order was still open. This was not intended to cover losses or manipulate results, but simply because my system identified a new entry based on statistical probability. Furthermore, I did not violate any capital protection rule, because to characterize a real loss coverage it would have required opening a position with a size proportional to the stop loss of the previous trade, which did not happen. After further clarification, I understand that this is part of how the system is designed. FTMO has provided explanations, and I believe this detail is important for traders to fully understand in order to avoid misunderstandings. Overall, FTMO remains a well-structured firm, and I encourage traders to carefully review the rules and time zone settings to manage risk properly. I am currently in discussion with FTMO to resolve the situation.

Over the past year I’ve been trading with **FTMO** and, until recently, I had no major issues. Payouts were fast, support responses were quick and human, and the overall experience was smooth. However, over the last few months the situation has deteriorated significantly. **1. Introduction of Volume Bands** FTMO introduced “volume bands,” which effectively increase the spread as your trade size increases. The more volume you open, the worse the spread becomes. This is especially damaging for traders who either scalp, trade large accounts, or both. The justification is that this change “better simulates real market conditions,” but that argument does not hold for several reasons: * FTMO’s base spread and commissions were already very high. * In real markets, spreads do not scale in such an aggressive way with position size in this context. * The brackets for the volume bands appear poorly designed across many assets — sometimes too restrictive, sometimes inconsistent. For traders using higher lot sizes, this can completely destroy the risk-to-reward profile. A significant portion of the intended risk ends up being consumed by spread alone. **2. Removal of the 200k Swing Account** They also removed the **200k Swing account**. Ironically, the traders most negatively affected by volume bands are scalpers and high-lot traders. I want to share my real experience so other traders clearly understand the risks involved. I successfully received a funded account 200000$ twice. The first time, I lost the account but was still in overall profit (+$6,000). In that case, the 80/20 profit split was paid. The second time, my performance was even stronger. For 14 days (except the last one), I was consistently profitable. During that period, I reached a peak profit of $42,000. On the final trading day, the profit was around $30,000, and I decided to stop trading. It was Friday, and I planned to wait through the weekend so that the 80/20 profit split would be processed on Monday. Later that evening, however, I decided to open one additional trade on XAUUSD (Gold), which is the only instrument I trade. As always, I placed a stop loss. Moreover, I deliberately kept a safety buffer of approximately $1,500 to ensure I would not exceed the daily loss limit under normal conditions. Despite having the stop loss properly set and a financial buffer in place, the market experienced extreme volatility within minutes. There was a very aggressive upward spike. My stop loss was positioned at approximately 12 pips (120 points), but due to the sudden volatility and slippage, the position was closed nearly 30 pips (300 points) away. The spike was strong enough that even my $1,500 safety margin did not protect the account. This resulted in a breach and the account was terminated. What surprised me most is that although I was still significantly profitable overall (around $26,000 at the moment of breach), no profit split was paid
