I have used this company both as a brokerage and a prop firm, and overall my experience has been very positive. The brokerage service is excellent, with smooth execution and a strong support team. On the prop firm side, I have traded with them for some time and had no complaints, which reflects their reputation as a trustworthy company. However, I was disappointed when an additional challenge I purchased was halted for inactivity, even though no trades were placed and the challenge had not yet been started. This was discouraging, especially from such a reputable firm. I hope this policy can be improved in the future for unused or not-yet-activated challenges.

1.The position was opened well in advance (hours before the news release) at normal market conditions during the session open, with no intent to engage in news trading, scalping, or exploiting volatility around the event. This was a standard swing/position trade based on technical/fundamental analysis prior to the news. 2.The stop loss was placed as part of standard risk management (only 1.8% risked on this trade), not adjusted or modified during the restricted period. The trigger was passive and unavoidable due to normal market movement/spike during the event. 3.At the moment the stop loss hit, my account was already in a healthy +5.6% profit state. The rule application here feels disproportionately harsh, as it effectively penalized disciplined, low-risk trading that had already contributed positively to my account's performance. Forfeiting the remaining unrealized profit (and potentially broader account implications) does not align with the spirit of encouraging sustainable, rule-compliant trading I fully respect your rules and the need to protect against abusive news strategies. However, in this instance, I feel the application was overly punitive and did not account for the trade's legitimate, non-news-related origin or my overall account health. I kindly request: A detailed explanation of why this qualified as a violation despite the pre-news entry. Reconsideration of the violation flag, restoration of the affected profits (or partial credit), and reversal of any penalties/deductions. If possible, escalation to a senior reviewer or compliance officer for a fair assessment. I Value my relationship with ThinkCapital and remain committed to compliant, professional trading. Had my Lightning Challenge cancelled for a breach of a rule which is not clearly advertised. Happy to take your money, bombard you with discounts etc to take more challenges but not possible to actually speak with anyone directly about the 'breach'. Live chat didn't work and email responses from a bot. Would have been very easy for them to investigate and ascertain my strategy does not violate any rules.very disappointed, wouldn't recommend

I tried ThinkCapital twice, and both experiences confirmed the same issue: everything is automated, rigid, and unforgiving. My first small trial account triggered a “gambling‑like trading” warning, yet support couldn’t provide a single example of what I supposedly did wrong. Their replies were vague and clearly based on an algorithm, not any real review of my trades. Managing their strict risk rules through TradingView is nearly impossible because their integration doesn’t show margin properly. Even support couldn’t explain how to monitor it accurately. I gave them a second chance with a new account (this time using MT5 so I could actually control risk), but the account was terminated before I placed a single trade due to their 30‑day inactivity rule. I asked for a simple reactivation, explained the misunderstanding, and they refused with zero flexibility. In my view, this firm sells the dream to less‑experienced traders but offers no transparency, no real support, and no second chances. If you value clarity and fairness, look elsewhere. Update 25/1/2026: To make matters worse, after posting this review, the company attempted to have it removed from Trustpilot by claiming it was a fake review and did not reflect a genuine experience. Trustpilot reviewed the case, confirmed that my review complies with their guidelines, and reinstated it. This latest action from ThinkCapital only reinforces my view that the feedback was fair — and that the company has difficulty handling legitimate negative reviews.
