I am writing this review to share my personal experience with BrightFunded so other traders can make an informed decision. I purchased an evaluation account for $298.85 expecting a realistic market simulation, as advertised. During a trade on XAU/USD (gold), I placed a proper stop loss specifically to control risk and avoid breaching daily drawdown limits. The position was only 1 lot — a modest size for gold. Price moved quickly, but instead of being filled near my stop level, the trade was closed with extreme negative slippage far beyond the defined stop. The result: My intended risk was effectively doubled. The account breached immediately. The evaluation was terminated. Support responded by saying this is “normal market behavior” due to volatility. However: Gold is one of the most liquid instruments globally. A 1-lot order should not experience such excessive slippage under ordinary conditions unless liquidity is artificially limited. This raises serious concerns about how their “real liquidity simulation” actually works. I am not complaining about losing a trade — losses are part of trading. I am questioning execution quality that invalidates basic risk management. If you trade here, understand that: Your stop loss may not protect you as expected. Slippage can exceed reasonable market standards. Risk parameters can become unpredictable. Make sure you fully understand this before purchasing. This is simply my documented experience.

Unfortunately it's the worst propfirm. This is my first experience with Brightfunded. about a month ago I bought a 10000$ challenge, I passed phases 1 and 2. I earned 1080$ in past week. today I opened some order, I calculated totally daily loss, I put SL somewhere in order to not lose more than 490$ and violate maximum daily loss, My open orders stopped out, and I checked my total daily loss on MT5 it was about 468$, and I decided to not trade for today. after 1 or 2 minutes automatically my daily loss increased to 501$, and I got an email that I breached maximum daily loss. I sent an email to them, to know what is happening there. no answer.

I have mixed feelings about this firm. I had a number of payouts last year and ultimately thats what we're in this game for so they must be commended for that, as this isn't the case with some firms that simply refuse to pay their traders. I have always found the CEO to be reasonable and approachable when I have had issues. I have noticed a decline recently however, and have experienced some really abnormal spreads/slippage. Recent trades that I've opened have left me $200 dollars or more down the moment the trades have been placed on standard markets. The fact that this is happening all of a sudden is a red flag to me and I will hesitate to purchase further challenges until I have seen improvements and confirmation that the firm is doing ok. I do feel that there are numerous firms in the space now that are being more transparent with their terms and conditions, particularly surrounding risk rules, whereby most firms are ambiguous and leave the door open to unfair discretion on the part of the prop firm. I hope this firm can demonstrate that they can adapt to the needs of traders and become competitive in the prop space by prioritizing fairness and transparency, as well as providing excellent trading conditions more in line with their competition, as I genuinely want them to succeed having initially had a great experience with them.

I am reporting an unacceptable execution anomaly on my account (ID: 329486344). I held a Short position on Gold with a Stop Loss set at 4867.00. My position was closed with a massive slippage at 4881.48, representing a 13.5-point (135 pips) gap on a single lot. Why this is a major red flag: Ghost Price Execution: My platform tick logs (which I have saved) show the last 'Ask' price recorded was 4867.94. The price then instantly jumped to 4881.48 in my execution without a single intermediate tick being recorded in the feed. This is not 'market depth'; it is a price gap that did not exist in the actual data stream. Refusal of Transparency: When I requested Level 2 data (Order Book) to verify if there was truly zero liquidity between 4868 and 4881 for a small 1-lot order, the support team refused to provide it and abruptly ended the conversation, claiming it was their 'final answer.' Inconsistent Support: They claim 'market conditions' caused this, yet on a highly liquid asset like Gold, a 13.5-point slip on 100 oz without any price discovery in between is highly unusual based on the market data I reviewed and inconsistent with the tick history provided to me. Any firm that refuses to provide proof of execution (Level 2) while executing trades at prices that do not appear in their own tick history is not a trustworthy environment for serious traders. Avoid this firm if you value fair execution.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with this broker. I placed a trade and properly set both my Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) levels. The market price moved approximately 50 pips beyond my TP level, yet my TP was not executed. This is not a minor fluctuation. A 50-pip move beyond a TP level cannot reasonably be dismissed as “normal market volatility.” When I contacted their support team, I was given a vague explanation about increased market volatility, but no clear technical justification, no tick data, and no detailed execution report were provided. Their response was inadequate and unprofessional. A regulated and transparent broker should be able to provide precise Bid/Ask data and execution details to justify why an order was not triggered. The lack of a clear explanation raises serious concerns about execution integrity and transparency. Based on this experience, I strongly urge other traders to exercise extreme caution before trading with this company.

I had two funded $200k accounts with BrightFunded that were in approximately $27k profit and approaching payout. However, hedging trades that I did not place appeared on my accounts, which resulted in a hard breach. After reviewing the case, the firm attributed the activity to my logged-in terminal, applied a hard breach, and stated that all profits including those earned before the incidents were not eligible for payout. I’m sharing this for transparency so other traders understand how account responsibility and security are handled. Update 1: I’ve documented the full timeline and screenshots publicly on Reddit in the r/PropFundedTraders subreddit under the title “My experience with BrightFunded''. Unfortunately other reddit post at /Forex was auto removed however i will post on other subreddits. Update 2: Thank you for the response. My review reflects my personal experience and the outcome communicated to me by BrightFunded. As stated, hedging trades appeared on my accounts which I did not open and had no reason or need to open as i was waiting for my payout, after internal review, the firm attributed them to my logged-in terminal and deemed all profits including those earned prior to the incidents ineligible for payout. I am not alleging intent or sabotage, I am not telling other traders to not buy your challenge. I’m just sharing my experience for transparency so other traders can understand how responsibility and security are handled in such situations. I stand by the factual accuracy of my review.

his company is completely irresponsible and unprofessional. I purchased an account from them, and on a day when gold was experiencing extreme volatility, I entered a trade only to suddenly find out that my account had been breached. I clearly told them that I had no warning or prior notice about such abnormal market conditions. If there had been any information or alert, I would never have opened the trade. Despite explaining this multiple times, they refused to accept any responsibility and kept repeating the same excuse: “your account is breached.” No support, no accountability, no fairness. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to stay away from this company.
